Who We Are
The WBCC is a not a membership-based organization and does not collect annual fees or dues. The Board , Staff, and Volunteers consist of entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals who provide services to and advocate for small business.
History
The WBCC was established in August 2006 by Michelle S. Butler, an entrepreneur who also previously ran a U.S. Small Business Administration's (SBA) women's business center. Building upon the premise of the SBA program, Michelle founded the organization as an entrepreneurial training center. The WBCC can now run multiple grant programs and provide a greater variety of services.
